Mr. Perlmutter joined Behrman Capital in May 2002 with 13 years of private equity investing experience. He has focused on the health care, manufacturing and defense/government services sectors and was Chairman of the Board of Woodcraft Industries, Inc. and served on the board of WIL Research Laboratories, Inc. He currently serves on the board of Ark Holding Company, Inc. and Atherotech Holidngs, Inc. Prior to joining Behrman Capital, he was with Desai Capital Management where he led several successful investments in the Business Services, Information Technology and Communications sectors and served on the boards of Lender's Service, Inc. and TeleCorp PCS, Inc. among others. Mr. Perlmutter began his career with Goldman, Sachs' Investment Banking Group, from which he launched a continuing interest in the financial services sector. In 1989, he graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School with distinction. He earned an AB in Economics from Princeton University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Perlmutter completed the 1993 and 2006 New York City Marathons.
