SIMON P. LONERGAN, PARTNER |

Mr. Lonergan joined Behrman Capital in January 2005 as a Partner. He is
currently Chairman of the Board of Peacock
Engineering Company. He also serves on the board of Selig Sealing
Products, Inc. Prior to joining Behrman Capital, Mr. Lonergan was
Partner and Senior Managing Director at The Blackstone Group, where he
co-led Blackstone's pursuit of European private equity transactions. As
a member of The Blackstone Group's Private Equity Investment Committee
and a board member of eight portfolio companies, Mr. Lonergan has been
involved in numerous highly successful investments which have led to
realizations in excess of $2.75 billion from a cost basis of $1.12
billion or a multiple of 2.5 times equity invested. During his career at
Blackstone, Mr. Lonergan played a key, senior or central role in the
execution of 11 investments across a range of industries, including
media, communications and packaging. They include Allied Waste
Industries, Bresnan Communications, CommNet Cellular, Graham Packaging,
InterMedia Partners VI, Spirit Group, TW Fanch-One and TW Fanch-Two.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lonergan was an Associate at Bain Capital
based in Boston, where he was involved in the execution of various
investments. Prior to that, he was a Consultant at Bain & Company. Mr.
Lonergan graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a
BA from the University of Cambridge, where he graduated in 1989. |
