Mr. Behrman is a founding Partner of Behrman Capital. He is currently
Chairman of the Board of Brooks Equipment Company, Inc. and serves on
the boards of Pelican Products, Inc. and Selig Sealing Products, Inc.
Prior board affiliations include Esoterix, Inc. (Chairman), Nimbus CD
International and Athena Diagnostics. Previously, Mr. Behrman was a
founding member of Morgan Stanley's principal investment activities,
where he worked from 1981 to 1991. From 1977 to 1981, Mr. Behrman was a
consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. In 1977, Mr. Behrman
received an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of the
University of Pennsylvania, with dual majors in Marketing and General
Management. He has an undergraduate degree in Business from the
University of the Witwatersrand. Mr. Behrman is a Fellow of the
Explorers Club, an organization dedicated to scientific research and
exploration, and a patron of the American Museum of Natural History in
New York ("AMNH"). In 1983, Mr. Behrman, in collaboration with the AMNH,
organized and led a scientific expedition to the Amazon and produced the
documentary Nomads of the Rain Forest for the PBS Nova series. When
first aired in 1984, Nomads achieved the highest national rating ever
received for a Nova program. An avid recreational runner, he has successfully completed numerous marathons including the New York City, Boston, and Comrades Marathon in South Africa.
Mr. Behrman also serves on both the Wharton
Leadership Advisory Board and Graduate Executive Board of the University
of Pennsylvania. |
